DLP Bulb/Lamp Replacement

Most DLP TV owners enjoy the large screens the new DLP TVs range in, with great size though comes the reality that these televisions need a mercury bulb to be replaced in the range of 1 to 5 years of use depending on some factors.
The DLP televisions and screes quality will often fade and become dim when the bulb gets old. Some televisions will warn you with an onscreen message that the bulb needs replacement. Some customers have described a pop noise and then suddenly the tv will not work. I have also heard some occasions where the customers have to press the power button multiple times in order to get the tv to power up and work again.

Most of these issues can be resolved by replacing the bulb. Please read all the instructions and manuals, you are absolutely not to touch the lense of the bulb when replacing it, the oil from your fingers leads to fog or smudged images on your screen.
Another tip is to leave plenty of room for the television to breath, DO NOT put it up against the wall, also make sure all the vents are cleaned off of any dust build up.
